Devious Pocket turns your turntable into a CDJ-style digital powerhouse

The Devious Pocket brings all the joys of timecode-based dj'ing, without the hassle of a laptop. It turns both vinyl players and old cd players into a fully standalone digital player.

Always wanted to experiment with timecode, but hated the idea of having to integrate a laptop and (possibly) subscription-based software? The Devious Pocket by NAP Works makes the ordeal a whole lot easier.

The Devious Pocket is nothing more than a microcomputer with a Hifiberry DAC in a 3d-printed enclosure, but the excellent software by NAP Works turns this relatively modest hardware into a full-fledged standalone media player that you can drive with any timecode signal. That means that you can use vinyl players with Serato timecode vinyl, or even an old CDJ-1000 with a Timecode cd.

Key and BPM analysis are there, as well as some cool visualisations built on top of their open source NAP Framework. Looping is possible, and there is an audio bypass included if you want to include the occasional real vinyl record.
